Iris-based World ID can overcome limits of captchas and KYC for proof of personhood in AI era

Tools For Humanity, which develops the iris-based ID project World, said proof of personhood is becoming more important in the AI era and that World ID can overcome the limits of captchas and KYC checks. Chief Business Officer Trevor Traina said bots generate more than half of web activity and can now replicate IDs, weakening existing verification. He said the World app has nearly 40 million downloads and 18 million users verified via Orb.

SpaceXAI considers Grok-X bundled subscription, top plan at $100 a month

SpaceXAI is preparing a plan to combine subscriptions for social media platform X and the Grok chatbot into a four-tier pricing structure, according to reports. The top tier could cost $100 a month. Documents cited in the report describe plans from free to an “Ultra” tier, with stronger limits on Grok use for free users. The Ultra tier may include access to an AI agent called Grok Bot and possibly the Cursor AI coding tool.

Muhayu launches CopyKiller feature to verify writing process

Practical AI company Muhayu said on Tuesday it has launched a “writing verification” feature on CopyKiller that records the writing process and allows users to check supporting evidence. The feature is available for free on CopyKiller. Users can write in the document editor without installing separate software, while activities such as typing, editing, deleting and pasting are automatically logged. The tool analyses about 150 activity signals and offers a replay function.
