KB Kookmin Bank holds KB Finance Camp for 2026 college entrance exam takers
KB Kookmin Bank said it held a KB Finance Camp with KB Asset Management for students taking the 2026 college entrance exam. The camp was held at the bank’s new building in Yeouido for 102 people selected by lottery through KB Star Banking. Sessions included lectures by a bank employee on essential finance concepts and by a Myongji University professor on future finance trends, plus other participatory programmes.

AI adoption spreads as digital divide widens, DeepSeek gains
Microsoft think tank The AI Economy Institute released a report on AI adoption in the second half of 2025, showing global generative AI adoption rose 1.2 percentage points to 16.3 percent. It found a widening gap between advanced and emerging regions tied to early infrastructure investment. The report said South Korea’s rank jumped to 18th with rapid growth, and highlighted open-source platform DeepSeek as lowering barriers in emerging markets.

KB Kookmin Bank recruits participants for KB finance camp for college exam takers
KB Kookmin Bank said it is recruiting participants until Jan. 18 for a “KB Finance Camp” for those who took the 2026 College Scholastic Ability Test, in partnership with KB Asset Management. The program will be held on Feb. 4 at the bank’s new building multipurpose hall. It will select 100 participants aged 24 or under, with results to be announced on Jan. 21. Sessions cover saving, investing and credit management.
