KB Kookmin Bank said on Feb. 5 it held the "Suneung End! Future Preparation START KB Finance Camp" for those taking the 2026 academic year College Scholastic Ability Test, together with KB Asset Management, on Feb. 4.

The KB Finance Camp was held at KB Kookmin Bank’s new building in Yeouido for 102 people selected by lottery through applications on KB Star Banking. The camp was designed to help participants understand finance in daily life more easily and in a more familiar way, and to form sound financial values.

In the first special lecture, a current KB Kookmin Bank employee gave a talk on "Key financial concepts needed at age 20." The session aimed to improve understanding with easy explanations of essential financial knowledge and ways to manage credit, tailored to participants’ level.

In the second lecture, Park Jung-ho (박정호), a special-appointed professor at Myongji University, delivered a talk on "Future finance trends." He surveyed the direction of digital finance in a rapidly changing financial environment and received a strong response from participants with a lecture using real cases from familiar brands.

Other participatory programmes were also held, including designing a personal money roadmap, a team-building programme for economic independence, and completing a digital financial wallet.

One participant said, "It was helpful because I was able to learn a lot of practical financial knowledge that I did not learn at school through this camp."

A KB Kookmin Bank official said, "We hope this camp becomes an opportunity for participants to understand and use finance in daily life." The official added, "We will continue to actively carry out inclusive finance through various financial programmes."
