Ride1Up unveils Portola 02 folding electric bike with more battery and cargo options
U.S. electric bicycle maker Ride1Up has launched the second-generation Portola 02 folding e-bike, keeping core performance while upgrading its pedal-assist system, battery choices, cargo configurations and electronics. The bike starts at $895. Buyers can choose 10Ah or 15Ah LG batteries, with up to 60 miles of range on the larger pack. Options include removable or frame-integrated rear racks, plus a larger color display and location tracking.

Juiced launches dual-battery electric bike, says it can travel up to 200 km per charge
Juiced has officially launched the dual-battery Scrambler Hardtail long-range electric bicycle. The company says it can deliver up to 120 miles, about 200 km, under ideal conditions. The bike adds a second battery to raise total capacity to 38.4Ah and 1,996Wh, while keeping the same rear hub motor with 1,764W peak output. Priced at $1,999, it is being sold with a $245 discount and comes with accessories.

Trek launches throttle-equipped Borego+ to target fat-tire e-bike market
Global bicycle brand Trek has launched the Borego+, a fat-tire electric bicycle equipped with a throttle, as it targets the North American e-bike market. The Class 2 model supports pedal assist and a thumb throttle, and some areas will also sell a faster Class 3 Borego+ S. The bike uses a 750W rear hub motor and a removable 720Wh battery with up to 60 miles of range. It will be sold through dealers and online for $2,499.
