Hana Financial Group said on Tuesday it will strengthen its inclusive finance execution framework by appointing Vice Chairman Lee Seung-yeol (이승열) as chief inclusive finance officer. The group said it executed more than 60 percent of its 3.1 trillion won annual inclusive finance target in the first half and will step up efforts in the second half. Plans cover youth and small business support, debtor protection and financial crime prevention, and expansion of social solidarity finance.

Hana Financial Group carried out a social contribution activity for vulnerable elderly people in the Incheon area. The group said on July 16 it held a volunteer event on July 15 at the Gajwa Senior Culture Center in Seo-gu, Incheon, sharing health-boosting meals and delivering “happiness boxes.” Employees served samgyetang to visitors and delivered boxes with meals and instant rice to homes. The group plans to provide samgyetang to about 4,000 people through July 24.
