Hana Financial Group holds volunteer work to create murals with an artist with developmental disabilities on June 29 at the Gajwa Youth Centre in Incheon’s Seo district.

The activity is part of an “Incheon regional environmental improvement relay campaign” under way ahead of the group’s planned headquarters relocation to Incheon’s Cheongna International City in September.

The volunteer work includes artist Wonjin Kang (강원진), a winner of the “Hana Art Bus” art contest for artists with developmental disabilities, and about 30 Hana Financial employees. They create murals in the youth centre’s corridor and programme rooms using Kang’s works “Gaze” and “What Are You Doing?” as motifs.

Hana Financial continues local environmental improvement efforts following mural work at the Incheon Yeonhui Senior Culture Centre in April and a plogging activity at Gangnam Market in Incheon’s Seo district in May.

A Hana Financial ESG Planning Team official said, “As we enter the Cheongna era that we will newly open, we will continue to expand inclusive finance that shares various social values with the local community.”
