Sam Altman backs South Korea\'s \'AI for all\' vision, says infrastructure role is key
OpenAI CEO Sam Altman voiced support for the South Korean government\'s \"AI for all\" vision and said it requires bold investment in AI infrastructure. OpenAI to supply ChatGPT Enterprise to all Samsung Electronics employees
OpenAI will supply ChatGPT Enterprise and Codex to support work innovation and companywide AI transformation at Samsung Electronics, it said on Sunday. The rollout covers all Samsung employees in South Korea and all employees worldwide in its Device eXperience (DX) division. Samsung plans to use the tools across software development, marketing, product development and manufacturing. OpenAI said more than 5 million people use Codex weekly and its weekly active users in South Korea have surged since Feb. 1, 2026.
