Volvo Group is testing the development of its own cryptocurrency for supplier transactions and is considering a closed blockchain environment to simplify dealings among material suppliers, transport providers and the company. Ivan Branko, who oversees information management, AI and analytics in a Belgian logistics operations unit, said the work focuses on business needs such as reducing supply chain inefficiencies and complexity. The plan would combine payments and record-keeping in one structure, storing transport order data on a ledger.

Japan\'s financial group SBI Holdings joined a Solana blockchain-based stablecoin and real-world asset alliance, triggering a blame dispute within the Cardano community. Some ADA holders criticised the Cardano Foundation, Input Output Global and founder Charles Hoskinson over business development. Hoskinson rejected personal blame, saying the community must use on-chain governance and the Treasury to fund and approve major initiatives. The dispute has also highlighted governance differences between Solana and Cardano.
