SOOP joins Creator Media Fair with offline content programmes
SOOP said on Aug. 27 it will take part in the 2026 Creator Media Fair on Aug. 28 to 29 at COEX Magok in Seoul. It will run offline programmes where streamers and users meet in person, including mukbang and cooking shows, venue tours and a tarot experience. The company will also operate a consultation zone for aspiring streamers, offering one-on-one guidance on registration and technical support.

Broadcast media commission to hold creator media fair in Seoul\'s Magok on Aug. 28-29
South Korea\'s Broadcast Media Communications Commission and the Korea Radio Promotion Association will hold the 2026 Creator Media Fair on Aug. 28-29 at COEX Magok and Magok Plaza in Seoul. The event, in its eighth year, will feature creator performances, fan meetings, business consultations and media new-technology experiences. TikTok, Soop and other platform companies will participate, along with creator Mimiminu and singer John Park.

Korea broadcast media telecom commission launches creator media cooperation consultative body
Korea\'s Broadcast Media Telecommunications Commission said on Tuesday it held a launch ceremony and first meeting for a creator media cooperation consultative body at COEX Magok in Seoul. The group includes platforms such as Google Korea, TikTok and Soop, multi-channel networks including Sandbox Network and CJ ENM DIA TV, public agencies, related associations, and academic and legal experts. It will discuss legal and institutional improvements, fair trade and creator rights, and regional cooperation models.
