IGAWorks unveils WorksFM to build consumer behaviour AI foundation model

AI data company IGAWorks said on Aug. 28 it has built its in-house AI foundation model, WorksFM, based on real consumer behaviour data covering 34 million people. Through WorksFM, it plans to develop the Consumer LBM, or Large Behavior Model, to understand consumer behaviour and infer future actions. The model focuses on learning behaviour flows across app use, payments, offline visits, ad responses and TV viewing.

Mplus first-half net profit 15.4 billion won, up 51.9 percent

Battery equipment company Mplus reported first-half net profit of 15.4 billion won, up 51.9 percent from a year earlier. Revenue was 83.0 billion won and operating profit was 14.2 billion won, keeping an operating margin of 17.1 percent. Gross margin rose to 28.2 percent. The company issued 20.0 billion won of unsecured private bonds and plans additional 20.0 billion won via a P-CBO to fund AIMR and other new businesses.

Galaxy Digital CEO says U.S. fiscal deficits are positive for bitcoin, keeps bullish view

Galaxy Digital CEO Mike Novogratz said persistent U.S. government fiscal deficits are a key factor behind his continued bullish outlook for bitcoin. He said a structure that fails to control spending ultimately strengthens the investment case for the cryptocurrency. He cited July federal revenue of $334 billion and spending of $766 billion, and pointed to Congressional Budget Office projections that public debt could rise to 120 percent of GDP by 2036.
