NCSoft said on Tuesday it has confirmed a global launch schedule for its massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) 'Aion 2' for the second half of this year.
The global version of Aion 2 is being developed as a PC-only platform service via Steam and Purple. Users can add it to their Steam wishlist from Tuesday.
NCSoft plans to build and operate servers for North America, South America, Europe and Japan. It supports 10 languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, simplified Chinese and traditional Chinese. The Aion 2 development team plans to hold time to communicate with global users in May.
Baek Seung-wook (백승욱), NCSoft's chief business officer (CBO), said, "Aion 2 has developed its content and services while listening to the community's voice." He added, "We will provide community-centered operations and gameplay equally to users worldwide."
