Starburst launches Aida to analyse data in natural language without dashboards
Starburst Data has launched Aida, an AI data assistant designed to let business users query and analyse enterprise data using natural language, SiliconANGLE reported. CEO Justin Borgman said it aims to close the gap between decision-making speed and the time needed to build dashboards and reports. The company said Aida operates in distributed environments without moving or centralising data and can access data via Apache Trino across cloud storage, lakes, warehouses and operational systems.

LG to launch AI investment service for retail investors with LSEG and Kiwoom Securities
LG AI Research will pursue a financial AI agent service for retail investors with London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) and Kiwoom Securities. The three parties signed a strategic agreement in Seoul to enhance retail AI investment insights on Kiwoom’s investor platform, expand asset management AI solutions by combining AI and data capabilities, and conduct joint marketing to lead standards in the AI-based investment services market. They expect the initiative to be the first commercial example in South Korea of explainable AI investing.

Mcloudbridge targets AI and BI market with conversational data agent
Mcloudbridge, a company specialising in an AI-integrated work platform, said on March 10 it will strengthen its push into the next-generation AI and business intelligence market with its conversational analytics solution, Ai 365 Data Agent. The company said the platform connects data sources including Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake and Azure and provides querying, analysis, visualisation and insights via natural-language questions. It also supports follow-on task automation through Power Automate integration.
