Samsung Electronics is expanding its art TV, previously sold only to consumers, into the business customer market. Samsung Electronics said on June 15 it unveiled the hotel version of The Frame (model: HL03H) at the HITEC 2026 hotel technology show in San Antonio, Texas.

The hotel version of The Frame features 4K QLED picture quality and an anti-glare panel that minimises light reflections. It is 27.5 mm thick and uses an ultra-slim bezel in a picture-frame style, allowing it to be installed flush against a wall. It supports built-in connectivity and a Slim Fit wall mount, and its magnetic custom frame bezel can be swapped to match the interior of the installation space.

It includes a Collection Hub function that displays artwork content such as paintings and photos even when the power is off. It also supports AI-based Generative Wallpaper and Live Translate functions for the first time in Samsung's hotel TV lineup. Guests can create and display images on the TV in addition to images preset by the hotel, and can watch local broadcasts in their native language through real-time translation.

From 2025, Samsung Electronics supports wireless content-sharing technologies Google Cast and Apple AirPlay across all hotel TV models. Guests can scan a QR code on the in-room TV screen to continue watching content from a smartphone or tablet on the TV. It can be used without a separate login, and paired device information is automatically deleted at checkout to protect personal information.

An integrated solution for hotel managers, LYNK Cloud, is also provided. It enables remote, real-time management of the status and services of in-room TVs worldwide. Its Business Intelligence function can analyse guest service-use patterns to implement customised add-on services. The hotel version of The Frame will be launched worldwide in the second half in four sizes: 43, 55, 65 and 75 inches.

Kim Hyung-jae (김형재), a vice president at Samsung Electronics' Visual Display Business, said it was meaningful to expand The Frame, the world's first art TV, into the B2B market. He said the new hotel version of The Frame will provide new value to business customers seeking to offer a differentiated luxury experience.
