Xlog, a company specialising in real-time data replication and migration, said on Monday it will supply its real-time change data capture (CDC) solution, X-LOG for CDC, for Indonesia's BJB Bank (PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat dan Banten Tbk) project to build a remote banking business intelligence (BI) system.
The project's focus is to build a BI framework to integrate, analyse and visualise branch system data to understand business conditions across BJB Bank's many branches.
X-LOG for CDC, supplied by Xlog, is a solution that extracts and replicates database change transactions in real time. It supports major commercial and open-source database management systems at home and abroad, as well as big data DBMS.
Xlog will implement a structure that links data from each branch based on CDC and connects it to business intelligence. It plans to collect and aggregate change data generated in BJB Bank's existing branch systems in real time through X-LOG for CDC and visualise it with a BI solution to provide business insights that can be used by frontline staff and management.
Jang Seok-joo (장석주), chief executive of Xlog, said, "We will maximise the value of data use in the remote banking environment of a major Indonesian bank and provide a data management system that makes it possible to immediately grasp the status of branch operations." He added, "Following the Thailand local administration project, we will expand references in the Southeast Asian market and accelerate our push into the Asian market."
