Starlink introduces $10 monthly equipment rental fee instead of hardware sales
SpaceX\'s satellite internet service Starlink has begun charging residential subscribers a $10 monthly equipment rental fee, removing upfront hardware purchase costs. The new policy is being rolled out in some countries, with $0 shown for the Starlink kit but a separate monthly equipment charge added. Service prices have also risen, with plans adjusted to $55, $85 and $130 per month. The rental model carries restrictions such as no service pauses.

AMD to build 2 AI supercomputers in UK, invest $2 billion over five years
AMD will invest $2 billion in Britain over the next five years to build artificial intelligence supercomputer infrastructure. The company said funds will go to AI research programmes and supercomputer construction, including a first system, Zenith, at the University of Cambridge. A second system, Sunrise, will be co-developed with the UK Atomic Energy Authority and designed for fusion research. CEO Lisa Su said the investment will improve access to computing resources for Britain’s “sovereign AI.”

Jensen Huang wraps up South Korea visit, stresses physical AI cooperation and startup support
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang attended a \"Korea AI Ecosystem Reception\" on June 8 to wrap up a five-day visit, saying South Korea is unmatched in heavy industry, manufacturing, electronics and AI software and that hundreds of billions of dollars in revenue would flow into the country over the next five years.
