Tesla is introducing a new door release device on its next-generation Cybercab robotaxi that combines electronic and mechanical functions to help occupants exit safely in emergencies. A pull-up door lever has been seen inside the Cybercab, replacing the button-based system that has drawn safety criticism. The company is responding to concerns tied to its door-handle design and the accessibility of emergency releases. It is not confirmed whether the change will extend to other models.

Samsung Electronics held its 57th annual general meeting of shareholders on Tuesday in Suwon and unveiled its 2026 AI business direction. Vice Chairman Jun Young-hyun, who chaired the meeting, said the company posted record annual revenue of 333.6 trillion won last year and its market value topped 1,000 trillion won. He said Samsung will continue investment and R&D spending and plans regular and additional dividends for 2025.
