LGU+ holds disability awareness concert for employees for Day of Persons with Disabilities
LGU+ held a disability awareness programme for employees to mark the Day of Persons with Disabilities. The company and LG Electronics hosted an accessibility and disability awareness lunch concert on April 17 at LG Sciencepark in Magok, Seoul, with about 300 employees attending. The event featured a performance by a chamber orchestra made up of musicians with developmental disabilities, a lecture and hands-on demonstrations of accessibility technologies and assistive devices.

Samsung Electronics vice chairman vows to lead AI transition to reach 1,000 trillion won market value
Samsung Electronics held its 57th annual general meeting of shareholders on Tuesday in Suwon and unveiled its 2026 AI business direction. Vice Chairman Jun Young-hyun, who chaired the meeting, said the company posted record annual revenue of 333.6 trillion won last year and its market value topped 1,000 trillion won. He said Samsung will continue investment and R&D spending and plans regular and additional dividends for 2025.
