Bitrue highlights 8-year ties with Cardano, but XRP still dominates
Cryptocurrency exchange Bitrue marked its eighth anniversary by highlighting its long history of supporting Cardano and said the project had been with it from the start. It said it listed ADA at launch in 2018, moved early to support Cardano native tokens and introduced ADA as a base currency. Bitrue also cited technical work and ecosystem participation. Data showed ADA accounts for a small share of Bitrue trading and reserves, while XRP dominates.

Bitcoin closes June below 200-week moving average; bear market bottom not yet in
Bitcoin finished June trading below its 200-week moving average but above its realised price, raising the possibility of further declines. Cointelegraph reported it fell 20.5 percent in June to close at $58,526, its weakest monthly performance since June 2022. PlanB said past bear market bottoms formed below realised price and saw potential for a drop to $52,000. Other analysts were divided on whether a bottom is near.

SharpLink resumes ETH accumulation after 8 months, adds 5,000 at annual low
Ethereum treasury firm SharpLink resumed purchases after eight months, receiving 5,000 ETH worth about $7.85 million from prime broker FalconX as ether slid to $1,537, its lowest level this year. On-chain data showed its last receipt via FalconX was on Oct. 26 last year. SharpLink holds about 876,285 ETH and ETH-converted assets. Rival BitMine holds 5.67 million ETH after adding 52,203 last week.
