Bumble launches AI dating assistant Bee
Bumble has launched an AI-based dating assistant called Bee, TechCrunch reported on Wednesday. The assistant learns users’ values, relationship goals and communication styles to recommend matches. Bee is currently in a pilot phase, with a beta test set to begin soon. Bumble plans to use it to collect user information more precisely and offer an experience distinct from rival apps such as Tinder.

OpenAI AI hardware to launch in second half of 2026, setting up clash with Apple AirPods
OpenAI is developing an AI-based device similar to Apple AirPods and aims to launch it in the second half of 2026, TechCrunch reported. OpenAI executive Chris Lehane said the company is on track to announce its first hardware device in the second half of this year. Asian supply chains say OpenAI is targeting shipments of 40 million to 50 million units in 2026.
