Korean retail investors pull savings and insurance to pile into Samsung and SK hynix

Overseas media are focusing on a South Korean market trend in which retail investors are pulling money from deposits and savings-type insurance to buy large semiconductor stocks. BeInCrypto reported that funds are moving from safe assets into equities, concentrating on SK hynix and Samsung Electronics as expectations for AI semiconductor demand rise. It cited falling savings bank and term deposit balances, rising credit buying by older investors, and increased insurance cancellations, while warning of risks from leverage and volatility.

Nvidia makes first delivery of Vera CPU for AI agents, including SpaceX and OpenAI

Nvidia has supplied initial volumes of its first in-house CPU for AI agents, called Vera, to SpaceX. BeInCrypto reported Nvidia also delivered early Vera silicon directly to OpenAI, Anthropic and Oracle Cloud. The company described Vera as its first processor marking an expansion of its GPU-led AI infrastructure business into CPUs. Vera includes 88 Olympus cores and supports up to 1.2 TB/s memory bandwidth, Nvidia said.

Ex-FTX executive launches AI trading platform claiming profits without losses

Patrick Gruhn, a former head of FTX\'s European business, unveiled an AI-based trading platform called UpsideOnly that claims users can earn without bearing losses. Users submit simulated trade ideas, and an AI selects signals that Perpetuals.com executes with its own funds. The AI model is reported to have trained on more than 11 billion past trades, with much of the data sourced from FTX Europe’s customer base, drawing criticism and raising questions about sustainability.
