Naver Connect Foundation to develop AI content for special education
Naver Connect Foundation said on Monday it signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Institute of Special Education to develop artificial intelligence education content for special education. The partnership aims to introduce tailored content for special education settings and help students with disabilities learn future technologies systematically. The two organisations plan to develop and distribute AI- and digital-based teaching and learning materials and provide customised AI content for special education platforms.

BMAC to hold 2026 media festival for people with disabilities in Busan
The Broadcasting Media and Communications Commission said it will hold the 2026 Media Festival for People with Disabilities over two days from June 24 at the Busan City Hall Media Center. The theme is \"Borderless media, united us.\" Attendees include the Busan Federation of Organizations of People with Disabilities, the Korea Communications Agency and local broadcasters. The event includes a musical performance, barrier-free film screening, art exhibitions and three program spaces.

Korea marks Information Culture Month, honours digital inclusion awardees
South Korea awarded individuals and organisations for contributions to digital inclusion and promoting a safe culture of digital use in the era of an artificial intelligence transition. The Ministry of Science and ICT and the National Information Society Agency held the 39th Information Culture Month ceremony in Seoul on Tuesday. Awards included 1 order of merit, 1 industrial medal, 6 presidential citations and other government citations. The event also featured booths on digital inclusion technology and AI risks.
