Woori Bank opens loan consulting channel on medical professionals platform
Woori Bank has launched a corporate loan consultation channel for clinic owners and prospective clinic owners. The bank said on June 1 it set up a one-to-one tailored corporate loan consultation channel linked to the Medistaff app, a medical professional community platform used by about 63,000 people including doctors and medical students. Requests submitted in the app are sent via Woori Bank’s open API to a dedicated corporate finance center.

Shinhan Bank expands financing support for Kia sales network, launches BaaS-based platform loans
Shinhan Bank will expand financial support for Kia’s nationwide Auto Q service centers and sales dealerships through a Banking as a Service-based platform. The bank said it signed an agreement with Kia at Kia360 in Seoul on May 11 and will launch a platform-based loan product. The initiative aims to build digital financial infrastructure, link financial and non-financial data, simplify loan procedures and provide tailored services and on-site support.

Kbank files registration statement for KOSPI listing, sets IPO price band at 8,300 to 9,500 won
Kbank said it submitted a securities registration statement to South Korea’s Financial Services Commission for a KOSPI listing and has started the IPO process. The offering comprises 60 million shares with an indicative price range of 8,300 to 9,500 won per share. At the top of the range, post-listing market capitalisation is about 4 trillion won and the maximum offering size is 570 billion won. Bookbuilding runs Feb. 4-10, with subscriptions Feb. 20 and 23.
