Hana Bank, Credit Guarantee Foundation Federation to fully digitise small business guaranteed loans
Hana Bank said it will introduce a one-stop, non-face-to-face service for guaranteed loans for small merchants and sole proprietors in partnership with the Credit Guarantee Foundation Federation. From September, customers will be able to complete the entire process, from applying for a guarantee to loan execution, through the federation’s Bojeungdream app. The service uses Hana Bank’s banking-as-a-service platform and public MyData to transfer required documents automatically.

Shinhan Bank launches Ddaenggyeoyo preferred merchant loans up to 100 million won
Shinhan Bank has launched a loan product offering up to 100 million won for preferred merchants on the co-prosperity delivery app Ddaenggyeoyo. Eligible businesses must designate settlement and card payment accounts with Shinhan Bank, set at least one major delivery platform settlement account to the bank, post average monthly sales of at least 10 million won over the past six months and have operated for at least six months. Loans run for 1 to 3 years with installment principal repayment and can use auto repayment services.

Woori Bank opens loan consulting channel on medical professionals platform
Woori Bank has launched a corporate loan consultation channel for clinic owners and prospective clinic owners. The bank said on June 1 it set up a one-to-one tailored corporate loan consultation channel linked to the Medistaff app, a medical professional community platform used by about 63,000 people including doctors and medical students. Requests submitted in the app are sent via Woori Bank’s open API to a dedicated corporate finance center.
