Woowa Youths and labor ministry hold heatwave safety training for riders
Woowa Youths, a logistics unit of Baedal Minjok, operated an online and offline heatwave training programme with the Ministry of Employment and Labor to address summer safety risks for riders. It held an offline session at Baemin Rider School on July 23 and earlier ran an online course that drew 393 riders. The programme covered heat illness prevention and wet-road accident avoidance, and provided participants with 10,000 won in vouchers linked to a joint support project.

Baemin voluntarily joins mutual growth evaluation to review co-growth with restaurants and riders
Woowa Brothers, operator of Delivery Hero Korea\'s Baemin app, will voluntarily take part in the Mutual Growth Commission\'s online platform mutual growth evaluation, it said on Thursday. The assessment will reflect surveys and performance reviews of cooperation with delivery platforms and open market companies. The company highlighted Baemin Academy training, scholarship support for restaurant owners\' children and a care fund, along with rider safety programmes including Baemin Rider School, a rider rest shelter and a rider safety management committee.

Woowahan Cheongnyeondeul trains riders as instructors, strengthens on-site training at Baemin Rider School
Woowahan Cheongnyeondeul, which oversees logistics services for Baedal Minjok, said on Sunday it completed a program to train 10 delivery riders with experience as professional instructors with the Korea Platform Freelancer Labor Mutual Aid Association. The company aims to build an on-site training system ahead of the government’s mandatory new rider safety education taking effect on Dec. 3. Graduates will begin rotating as assistant instructors from July.
