Woori Bank hires ex-Samsung Electronics executive Jung Eui-chul to lead digital sales
Woori Bank has recruited global software expert Jung Eui-chul, who previously worked at Samsung Electronics and Microsoft, as head of its Digital Sales Group at vice president level. Jung will begin work on Jan. 2 and oversee the bank’s digital platform strategy and overall non-face-to-face sales. The bank reorganised the group, integrating BaaS and remote pension marketing functions. It also set 2026 priorities including mobile web rebuilding, boosting Woori WON Banking usage and expanding partnerships.
