SKT, KT and Kakao ready rollout of \'Everyone\'s AI\' with beta due this month

South Korea has launched the \"Everyone\'s AI\" project to help the public use AI services more easily in daily life. Three consortia led by SK Telecom, KT and Kakao plan to roll out beta services from late this month and move to a nationwide launch within the year. The science ministry outlined development plans and support measures. The government plans to spend about 250 billion won next year, including funds for GPU leasing, system operations and AI agent expansion.

VESSL AI to supply 128 Nvidia B200 GPUs to SK Biopharm

AI infrastructure company VESSL AI said on Wednesday it has signed a supply contract with SK Biopharm for 128 Nvidia B200 GPUs. Starting in August 2026, VESSL AI will provide GPU computing resources equivalent to 16 B200 nodes, totaling 128 GPUs, through its GPU cloud platform, VESSL Cloud. The company said the deal will expand its customer base from AI companies and research institutes to the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.

Naver Cloud to develop 700B cybersecurity AI model, preloads 4,000 GPUs

Naver Cloud said on Sept. 3 its consortium has been selected as the final operator for the government’s specialised AI foundation model project in the cybersecurity field and has begun full-scale development. It preloaded 4,000 B200 GPUs for pretraining ahead of the official start. The consortium will also use 256 government-provided GPUs and an additional 256 H200 GPUs from LG. It plans to develop two 700B MoE security models using HyperCLOVA X and LG AI Research’s EXAONE.
