A supply shortage of high-layer printed circuit boards is continuing amid a surge in AI demand, and demand is now expanding into defense and aerospace, the article said. The boards are high-reliability products needed for long-term operation in extreme environments and are used in AI accelerators and network equipment. The aerospace market is expected to grow from this year as small satellite launches rise. With suppliers limited, the shortage could deepen, lifting prices and creating bottleneck risks for users.

Elice Group held a media briefing at its headquarters in Seoul on April 15 and announced a business strategy spanning AI infrastructure and education. The company said the core is a domestically developed portable modular data centre that can cut build times to about three months and supports Nvidia’s Vera Rubin NVL72. It also introduced a GPU spot pricing plan, expanded partnerships to build a domestic AI infrastructure ecosystem, and plans to integrate document analysis and generative AI while widening enterprise training.
