Clay raises $115 million for B2B sales and marketing AI, valuation more than doubles in a year
B2B sales and marketing AI startup Clay has raised $115 million and will be valued at $7.1 billion, the New York Times reported. The round was led by Wellington Management, with Sequoia Capital, a16z Perennial, DST Global and Alphabet’s CapitalG also participating. Clay has focused on autonomous AI agents over the past year. CEO Karim Amin said annualised revenue this quarter will reach about $200 million.

The Financial Times reported OpenAI cut prices for GPT-5.6 Luna by up to 80 percent and reduced Terra by 20 percent, while Anthropic priced Opus5 at about half of Fable5. Data cited by the FT showed customer costs have fallen sharply since mid-July. Some reports said usage and revenue rose after the cuts.
