South Korea regulator fines Agoda 2.42 billion won over unclear fees
South Korea\'s Broadcasting and Media Communications Commission said on July 6 it would fine online travel platform Agoda 2.424 billion won and issue a corrective order for violating the Telecommunications Business Act. The regulator said Agoda did not clearly disclose key information such as refund conditions, cancellation or change fees and additional charges for pay-later options during the booking process, making it difficult for users to understand costs.

Noluniverse hires former Agoda executive Libutzki to lead global business
Noluniverse said on Monday it has hired Oliver Libutzki to lead its global business. Libutzki previously oversaw operations in more than 20 countries at travel technology companies including Agoda, Tourlane and Hopper. He will be responsible for overseas lodging, packages, tours and activities, and air travel, and will lead efforts to create synergies, boost product competitiveness and improve operating efficiency.

KT steps up everyday membership perks from food and drinks to daily necessities
KT said on Tuesday it has prepared an \"April customer rewards programme\" and \"Daldal Benefits\" tailored to customers\' spending patterns. From April 16, it will offer either a 50 percent discount at Baskin Robbins or a 6,000 won discount at its Shopping Lounge commerce service. Daldal Benefits will run from April 15 to 30 and includes Choice and Special offers across multiple partner brands.
