KT Cloud said on Thursday it will set up an AI safety cooperation framework with Kakao to help ensure safe AI services. The companies will combine KT Cloud’s AI infrastructure platform capabilities with Kakao’s AI safety technology to support customers developing and operating generative AI services. As a first step, KT Cloud will integrate Kakao’s Kanana Safeguard guardrail model into its RAG-based platform RAG Suite 2.0 for public-sector customers.

Kakao published its 2025 sustainability report and launched a dedicated website to provide related information in one place. Applying ISSB standards, the report examines how three key issues — user protection, information security and climate change response — affect the company and society. Kakao said it cut 4,753 tonnes of greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency at its Ansan data centre and expanded renewable energy procurement.
