SKT steps up push into B2B market with new enterprise taskforce
SK Telecom CEO Jeong Jae-heon (정재헌) marked six months in the role with a town hall meeting, stressing the importance of customer-focused change. The company said he encouraged employees tackling an enterprise-wide crisis response and shared results to date. SKT is launching a CEO-direct enterprise taskforce to strengthen wired and wireless B2B competitiveness and pursue opportunities in public and defence AI B2B. It also plans to expand its AI data centre business and overhaul its job-level system.

[MWC26] SKT bets on \'full-stack AI\' covering infrastructure, models and services
SK Telecom is staking its AI business on a “full-stack” strategy spanning infrastructure, models and services, drawing on group capabilities to build an end-to-end portfolio. CTO and AI CIC head Seokkeun Jeong says the company is discussing optimisation across power generation, data centre facilities, servers, chips and software. He expects AI data centres to bifurcate into hyperscale and local edge models and says A.X K-1 will be widely usable across industries.

SKT, Fanessia to redesign AI data center architecture to fix inefficiency
SK Telecom said it signed an agreement with Fanessia at MWC 2026 in Barcelona to jointly develop a CXL-based next-generation AI data centre architecture. The partners plan to expand resource interconnection from inside servers to rack level and allow flexible combinations of CPU, GPU and memory. They aim to lift AI processing efficiency without unnecessary equipment expansion and to improve data centre economics.
