Rebellions builds global GPU-class AI infrastructure with Korean-made NPU
Rebellions said it has implemented infrastructure performance comparable to global GPU servers on a single server by combining a Korean-made AI chip and a large language model. The company ran SK Telecom’s proprietary AI foundation model, A.X K1, on its own AI semiconductor server, Rebel Server, and demonstrated an agent service handling simultaneous user requests. It said it stably executed a language model with more than 500 billion parameters on one server.

SKT rolls out May family month benefits including shared family phones and AI security
SK Telecom said on Wednesday it has prepared services and benefits for May, designated as family month in South Korea, ranging from phone gifting to AI security features. It proposed a free add-on service that lets parents hand down devices to children aged 13 or under, offering data coupons, free family roaming and subscription discounts. SKT also highlighted an AI-powered call alert for suspected voice phishing and promoted family roaming options and a forest camp event for long-term customers.

SKT adds family care feature to A.Dot Phone to alert guardians of suspected voice phishing
SK Telecom said on April 27 it will add a \"family care\" feature to its A.Dot Phone service to alert guardians immediately when AI detects suspected voice phishing during a call. Police Agency statistics showed 5,878 voice phishing cases in the first quarter of 2025, up 17 percent from a year earlier, while average losses per case rose 188 percent to 53.01 million won. Users can register up to 10 guardians, who receive alerts by push notification and SMS or SMS only.
