Post Office chief checks special election mail processing ahead of local elections

Park In-hwan (박인환), head of the Korea Post, visited the Seoul Mapo and Seodaemun post offices on May 24 to inspect on-site processing of election mail ahead of the ninth nationwide local elections on June 3. The Korea Post set May 12 to election day as a special election-mail period and shifted to an emergency work system. It expects to handle 32.8 million items, including election brochures and voting guidance notices.

Stablecoin supply tops $300 billion but growth stalls; only USDT expands

Total stablecoin supply has exceeded $300 billion, but growth appears to be stalling. Over the past month, Tether\'s USDT expanded by more than $5 billion, while the combined supply of USDC, USDe and PYUSD fell by about $4.2 billion. Net growth was $900 million, a monthly increase rate of 0.3 percent. The Block said USDe supply has fallen 28 percent in a month and about 34 percent since the start of the year.

Repeated DeFi security incidents block institutional investment
