NC to team with Samsung Electronics at TGS 2026 to demo \'Astrae Oratio\'

NC will hold the first public hands-on demo and exhibition of its new title \'Astrae Oratio\' at Tokyo Game Show 2026 in Japan using Samsung Electronics devices. Visitors to NC’s booth will be able to play the demo on Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S26 Ultra smartphone. NC will also install Samsung’s glasses-free 3D display Spatial Signage, including an 85-inch unit at the booth entrance and 32-inch units along visitor routes.

KakaoMap to offer dedicated map for Octoberfest Seoul 2026

Kakao said on Thursday it will offer a dedicated map for Octoberfest Seoul 2026 on KakaoMap in cooperation with Deutsche Oktoberfest Korea. The event, officially approved by the city of Munich, will be held in South Korea for the first time from Sept. 12 to 21 at the Oil Tank Culture Park in Seoul’s Mapo district. Users can view venue layout, booth locations, menus and facilities, and share real-time updates via the app’s on-site chat function.

Woowa Brothers says it will help foster a vibrant startup environment

Woowa Brothers, the operator of food delivery app Baedal Minjok, shared growth know-how built over 16 years with global startups. The company said it held an on-site exchange event on Sept. 10 at Baemin Startup Square in Pangyo, Seongnam, with participants in the 2026 K-Startup Grand Challenge. The programme is hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and run by the Gyeonggi Center for Creative Economy and Innovation.
