An analysis said XRP must first break a $1.52 to $1.55 resistance zone that has capped gains for months to reach $2.

The Crypto Basic, a blockchain outlet, reported on Oct. 24 that crypto influencer Ash Crypto said $2 would be easy if XRP rises above that range.

Ash Crypto pointed to $1.52 to $1.55 as a key resistance zone on the chart. XRP has tried several times to break above it but failed each time. The current bullish scenario is a conditional outlook that assumes a breakout.

XRP, which traded around $2 at the start of the year, fell to around $1 over the summer before rebounding. It later retested the $1.50 to $1.70 range but was pushed back to around $1.30 by selling pressure. Its recent trading range is $1.27 to $1.32.

The market views $1.52 to $1.55 as a key resistance zone blocking further gains. From $1.27, XRP would need to rise about 57 percent to reach $2.

Charts show XRP fell from around $2 in early 2026 to around $1 during the summer. It then rebounded and briefly climbed back into the $1.50 to $1.70 range, but was again capped by selling pressure. More recently it moved in the $1.27 to $1.32 range, and $1.52 to $1.55 remains the biggest overhead resistance.

For the bullish trend to continue, XRP must hold its recent low and move back up toward the $1.50 resistance zone. A break above that level could be an additional signal that months of selling pressure is easing. It was also emphasised that the $2 target is not an established trend and is valid only if XRP clears the multi-month resistance line.

Another analyst took a similar view. XRP analyst CasiTrades said in a recent analysis that XRP must rise above $1.65 to confirm its recent low. At the time, XRP fell from around $1.65, its September high, and traded around $1.33 while finding support near $1.27. She explained that the level is a key Fibonacci retracement zone and aligns with her Elliott Wave target.

CasiTrades pointed to $1.65 as the key resistance line. She judged that if XRP breaks above it, a potential third-wave advance could open the way to $2.40. She also noted that XRP must first clear intermediate resistance levels including $1.35, $1.40, $1.55 and $1.58 in sequence.

Downside risks remain. She warned that forming a bottom takes time and said XRP could retest support at $1.27. If that level breaks, she cited $1.10 and then $0.87 as the next downside targets. In the short term, XRP's direction depends on whether it can defend $1.27 support and break through the $1.52 to $1.65 resistance zone.

$XRP has been stuck below this resistance for months. Once it breaks, $2 will be easy. https://t.co/4QIH8PSeW1
