Saudi Arabia moves to build auto industry, unveils 1,111-hp Exobot EV

Saudi Arabia is moving to foster its auto industry through Ceer, its first domestic full-vehicle maker. Ceer unveiled two electric models, the Exobot sedan and SUV, positioning them as part of Vision 2030. The company plans to expand its lineup to seven models by 2030, including hybrids. It is focusing first on the GCC while developing vehicles for fast certification in Europe and North America. Ceer highlighted performance, digital features and local production plans near Jeddah.

Simple payments expand acceptance as night stock trading ramps up

South Korea\'s simple payment companies are expanding where their services can be used by linking existing networks and supplying payment infrastructure to new sectors. Banks and internet-only lenders are also widening mobile lending and alternative credit offerings. Regulators and the government are moving on youth savings, transport fare support and payment security checks. After-hours trading has extended KOSPI and KOSDAQ hours to 8 p.m., while debate continues over digital asset taxation and related infrastructure.

KRX after-market logs 1.1 trillion won in daily turnover after first week, retail share 90 percent

The Korea Exchange\'s after-market recorded average daily turnover of 1.1 trillion won in its first week, it said. Average daily volume was 54.85 million shares from Sept. 14 to 18, with turnover about 4.6 percent of the regular session. Retail investors accounted for 90.4 percent of traded value. The exchange said it applies the same volatility interruption rules as the regular market and will strengthen surveillance for unfair trading.
