Daedong Mobility to supply delivery-focused electric motorcycles

Daedong Mobility will step up supply of electric motorcycles for delivery services and work with the government and delivery platform companies to accelerate the shift, it said on Thursday. The company joined an agreement ceremony in Hanam, south of Seoul, attended by 15 companies and institutions. The agreement targets electric motorcycles making up at least 25 percent of new delivery motorcycles by 2030 and at least 60 percent by 2035.

JPMorgan says bitcoin over gold still has long-term investment value

JPMorgan assessed that bitcoin's long-term investment appeal has increased even though its price has fallen 56 percent against gold. The bank said gold's surge and rising volatility have strengthened bitcoin's risk-adjusted attractiveness and noted the gold-to-bitcoin volatility ratio fell to a record low of 1.5. It also said crypto liquidations were more limited than in the prior quarter, while spot bitcoin ETFs have seen $6.435 billion of outflows since November 2025.

Park In-gyu meets Quebec international relations minister to discuss AI cooperation

Park In-gyu held bilateral talks with Quebec International Relations and Francophonie Minister Christopher Skeete on Friday in Seoul to discuss cooperation on AI technology and strategic economic sectors. The two shared the status of cooperation between South Korea and Quebec, including joint AI research and personnel exchanges, and discussed ways to expand it. Quebec's MILA institute expressed willingness to cooperate and proposed collaboration measures.
