KT Studio Genie said its short-form dramas "The Janitor's Second Marriage" and "Jamanchu Clubhouse," released in January, ranked No. 1 in popularity on DramaBox and ReelShort. The company said the results show its long-form drama planning and storytelling capabilities also work for short-form content. It is preparing a short-form business strategy for global expansion, aims to release 56 original short-form dramas a year, and has built distribution links with multiple global and domestic platforms.

Chinese aviation startup AutoFlight has moved into the eVTOL market with backing from battery maker CATL, in a development seen as part of China's low-altitude economy strategy. The Shanghai-based company unveiled its 5-tonne Matrix aircraft and completed a flight demonstration at a test site near Kunshan. AutoFlight plans to expand from cargo into passenger transport and expects to obtain passenger certification within 1 to 2 years. It aims to cut air mobility costs and pursue large-scale commercialisation within 3 to 5 years.
