Tom Lee says crypto has passed through much of bear market, now in mid-cycle correction

Fundstrat co-founder Tom Lee said the cryptocurrency market has already moved through a substantial bear phase and that investor sentiment and positioning now look closer to a bottom than a typical top. He said short positions were at levels usually seen mid-bear market. Real Vision founder Raoul Pal also said the current moves looked like a mid-cycle correction, citing liquidity indicators and an extreme reading in the crypto Fear & Greed index.

Solana co-founder says AI could break post-quantum crypto first

Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko (아나톨리 야코벤코) has identified artificial intelligence as the most immediate threat to cryptocurrency cryptography. He said the industry does not yet fully understand mathematical and implementation weaknesses in post-quantum cryptography signatures, and warned AI could disable such systems before defenses are in place. Yakovenko advocated reducing reliance on a single signature scheme by adopting a 2-of-3 multisig combining different schemes. Separately, Galaxy Digital's Alex Thorn said Bitcoin discussions are converging on leaving Satoshi Nakamoto's holdings untouched.
