Apple to launch three new MacBooks in early 2026 including budget model

Apple is preparing to introduce three new MacBooks in early 2026. The lineup includes MacBook Air and Pro models using the M5 chip and a new 12.9-inch MacBook positioned as a lower-priced option. The M5 MacBook Air is expected to keep its current design and arrive first. Updated MacBook Pro models with M5 Pro and Max chips will follow. A budget MacBook with an A18 Pro chip is also planned, priced between 599 dollars and 699 dollars.

Palantir posts worst month in two years as AI stocks sell off

Palantir shares dropped 16 percent in November, recording their worst month in two years. CNBC reported that investors sold AI stocks on valuation concerns as Michael Burry increased short positions. Palantir had announced a 2 billion dollar buyback plan, but RBC Capital Markets warned of dependence on certain clients and Deutsche Bank flagged valuation risks. CEO Alex Karp rejected bubble claims, yet major AI-related stocks weakened through November.

India ecommerce platform Meesho nears IPO, SoftBank to keep stake

Meesho, a major Indian ecommerce platform competing with Amazon and Walmart’s Flipkart, is preparing a 660 million dollar IPO. SoftBank, Prosus and Fidelity will keep their stakes, while founders and early investors plan partial share sales. Launched in 2015 as a social commerce service, Meesho expanded into a low-cost marketplace and has grown rapidly among price-sensitive consumers and small sellers. Last year it reported 234.2 million active buyers and 706,471 sellers.
