Hyundai Motor offers up to $10,000 discount on EVs in U.S. with Ioniq series promotions
Hyundai Motor is stepping up electric vehicle promotions in the United States, offering discounts of up to $10,000 and 72-month zero-interest financing on models including the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 9. The move is seen as a response to higher price burdens after a federal tax credit ended and intensifying competition. In South Korea, Hyundai Capital is also offering discounts on Ioniq models and Kia EVs. Media reported low lease payments for some trims.

Ripple reshapes RLUSD liquidity as Ethereum burns rise and XRPL issuance expands
Ripple has burned $539 million worth of its stablecoin RLUSD over the past 30 days, with 74.8 percent of the total occurring on the Ethereum network, a report said. On-chain data showed large-scale burns after May 23, outpacing $410.7 million in issuance by more than $129 million and cutting net supply. Burns were concentrated in early June, while most new issuance took place on the XRP Ledger.

Ripple's XRP held in escrow could remain in place until around mid-2035 under its current operating method, the report said. Ripple holds 32.9 billion XRP in escrow and 5.03 billion XRP in wallets it directly controls. Although up to 1 billion XRP can be released monthly, Ripple has been re-locking a large portion, limiting net supply growth. The key variable is how much XRP is actually released to the market each month.
