Bitcoin bearish signals stack up, $54,000 warning light from charts and on-chain indicators
Bitcoin has fallen below $60,000, triggering additional downside signals on technical charts and on-chain indicators. Cointelegraph reported it slid to around $58,000 intraday on June 25, giving up June gains, with about $54,000 flagged as the next downside area. A rounded top pattern and a bearish flag breakdown both point to the same target. Glassnode’s MVRV bands place a 1.0 level near $53,390, while a deeper selloff could shift focus to about $42,700.

Bitcoin options market sees growing defensive demand; Strategy crisis view limited
Bitcoin options investors are increasingly positioning for downside protection amid near-term uncertainty, with elevated put skew in both Deribit and BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust options. Anchorage Digital said short-dated implied volatility has often exceeded one-month volatility in 2026, reflecting focus on near-term risks. It added Strategy-related options have not priced in an extreme downside scenario despite weakness in Strategy’s preferred and common shares.

Bitcoin slips to $59,000 range; long-term model sees entry into 'floor' zone
Bitcoin slid to $59,000 to mark a new low for the year, but a long-term price model showed it has entered a zone similar to past major bottoms. CoinTelegraph said the move fits within statistical ranges seen at earlier bear-market lows. Derivatives data pointed to $55,000 as the next key support and $65,000 to $68,000 as the main upside focus, while traders watch whether bitcoin can reclaim $60,000.
