SKT marks 100 days of 'Air' sim-free service with points promotion

SK Telecom said on Monday it will run a points promotion to mark 100 days since launching its sim-free digital telecom service Air. From Jan. 19 to 24, new subscribers can use a 5G 100GB plan with a first-month effective price of 100 won through bonus and secret points. SKT will also double mission points for all users. Air has topped 100,000 app members in 100 days.

Baemin runs large-scale pickup discount promotion

Woowa Brothers, the operator of food delivery app Baedal Minjok, said on Monday it will run a large-scale pickup promotion in partnership with coffee franchise MegaMGC Coffee. From Jan. 19 to 25, it will offer a limited first-come, first-served 100-won hot Americano deal, and a 1,000-won Americano once a day even after the limited quantity runs out. From Jan. 26 to Feb. 1, it will continue selling hot Americanos for 1,000 won and offer 10 percent off all items at about 2,000 stores.

Com2uS to hold user tournament for Com2us Pro Baseball V25, applications open until Jan 25

Com2uS said on Sunday it will hold the Com2us Pro Baseball V Festa for users of its mobile baseball game Com2us Pro Baseball V25. The event will offer various baseball-themed activities and host a user tournament. The competition will be a single-match, real-time tournament, with online qualifiers from the round of 64 to the quarterfinals and on-site semifinals and final. Applications are open online until Jan. 25.
