Song Kyung-hee says she will build virtuous cycle of tough penalties and active investment

Upstage rejects claims Solar Open 100B copied Chinese LLM after public verification
Upstage said allegations that its Solar Open 100B foundation model copied and fine-tuned a Chinese LLM were untrue. CEO Sung Hoon Kim held a briefing for about 70 industry and government officials and disclosed training logs and checkpoints. He said similarities cited in LayerNorm and tokenizer analysis were statistical illusions and inappropriate comparisons.
