RLWRLD uses open robot AI GR00T N1.5 to advance robot hand manipulation training

RLWRLD said on Jan. 6 it is enhancing training for its Allex robot and a five-finger robotic hand to manipulate objects stably, based on Nvidia Research’s open humanoid robot AI model NVIDIA Isaac GR00T N1.5. The company said grasp-and-move tasks require perception, understanding and fine finger control, and that small errors can lead to failure. RLWRLD said it is optimizing and fine-tuning the pre-trained model and building a structure for rapid, repeatable experiments. It also plans to unveil a proprietary VLA model early this year.

Gravity Game Tech starts pre-registration for Ragnarok Endless Trail in Southeast Asia

Gravity Game Tech (GGT), Gravity's Thailand subsidiary, has begun pre-registration in Southeast Asia for its new mobile RPG "Ragnarok Endless Trail," starting at noon on Jan. 5 Thailand time. Pre-registration is available on Google Play and Apple App Store in Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Malaysia and Singapore. The game is a survival roguelike battle royale action RPG based on the Ragnarok universe. GGT is offering events and rewards linked to follower targets and cumulative pre-registrations, including a cross-promotion at 150,000 sign-ups.

L&F Tesla contract cutback rattles South Korean battery industry

L&F revised a Tesla high-nickel cathode materials supply contract signed in February 2023, cutting the reported value to 9.73 million won from 3.83 trillion won. The disclosure pushed L&F shares down about 26 percent. The company said schedules were adjusted amid changes in the global EV market and battery supply environment. Questions have also been raised over the timing of the firm’s treasury stock disposal and executives’ share sales.
