Meta has released a new app, Pocket, that creates small games and interactive apps using AI prompts.
TechCrunch reported on July 2 that users can create small interactive apps and games with text prompts and can run results made by other users directly from a feed.
Pocket describes itself as a “creative platform for making and sharing gizmos.” Gizmos refer to interactive experiences created inside the app. It also offers a function to explore and play other users’ gizmos in a scrolling feed.
Pocket is similar to the existing app Gizmo, a vibe-coding game platform whose team Meta acquired earlier this year. Screens on Google Play show users can create small interactive experiences based on written AI prompts, and it also offers a discovery feed. The Gizmo app is still listed in stores.
Meta did not respond to inquiries about Pocket. It also made no separate official announcement. This has led to speculation that Pocket is still in an early experimental stage.
