South Korea's National Intelligence Service conducted on-site cybersecurity inspections of 152 central ministries, metropolitan governments and public agencies and disclosed the results through its 2025 cybersecurity assessment. The number of public agencies rated “excellent” rose to 32, up from 29 in 2024. No metropolitan governments received an excellent rating, and central ministries fell to zero. Six bodies were rated “poor”, including several ministries and local governments. The NIS said it will closely check disaster recovery and access controls in its 2026 review.

Tving said on Monday it has introduced a profile viewing rating setting feature, upgrading its existing profile and adult verification functions. The feature allows users to set viewing age limits by profile for themselves and their children. Ratings are set across five levels from all ages to 19 and older. Once enabled, content above the selected rating is automatically restricted from the home screen and content lists. Tving is also joining the Video Rating Board-led “OTT Protection Mode: ON!” campaign.
