Billionaire investor O'Leary says October 2025 plunge changed institutional investing

An analysis says institutional investors have reoriented crypto strategies toward bitcoin and ether after an October 2025 crash and leverage liquidations. Billionaire investor Kevin O'Leary said institutions concluded they only needed to hold bitcoin and ether for 90 percent of returns, and he said he cut positions to keep only those two. SBI Holdings shareholders see fourfold return from XRP dividends despite 60 percent drop

Shareholders of Japan’s financial group SBI Holdings who received XRP through the company’s shareholder benefit programme have logged average gains of more than four times their weighted average purchase price, according to a report cited by an XRP community figure. SBI began distributing XRP in March 2020 and has made six payouts. XRP was about 252.46 yen per token as of Feb. 2, 2026, versus an average purchase price of 58.8 yen.

Woori Asset Trust named project operator for Mokdong 1 complex redevelopment

Woori Asset Trust said on Wednesday it has been designated as the project operator for the redevelopment of Mokdong 1 complex in Seoul’s Yangcheon district. The district designated the firm under the Urban and Residential Environment Improvement Act and publicly announced it. Seoul recently designated and announced Mokdong complexes 1 to 3 as redevelopment zones and confirmed a plan that includes a higher floor-area ratio and expanded public facilities.
