Naver holds third Clip Creators Day to broaden support for creators

Naver said it held its third Clip Creators Day on March 8 at its 1784 headquarters, inviting specialist Clip creators to share future support measures and service direction. The company plans to launch an AI editor within the year to simplify production by automatically sorting media, adding information tags and recommending hashtags and music. It will also enhance the Clip Creator application with new post-type analytics and expanded tools, broaden monetisation to posts combining text and images, and revamp the Clip tab to support fandom building.

Hana Bank wins Global Finance best trade finance provider in Korea award

Hana Bank won Global Finance magazine's award for best trade finance provider in Korea for 2026, the bank said. It said it received the award for the 25th consecutive year at a ceremony held in London on March 4 local time. The bank said the recognition reflects the quality of its trade finance products and services and its technology. It is expanding support for exporting and importing companies through guarantees, financing and digital services.

Kakao launches Kanana Scholar AI academic cooperation program, forms expert advisory group

Kakao said on March 9 it launched Kanana Scholar, an artificial intelligence cooperation program aimed at exchanging with academic experts and future talent, and held an inauguration ceremony for an expert advisory group. The program will centre on an advisory group of seven professors in AI and computing and on exchange programmes for university students and young people. Kakao said it confirmed advisory directions and an annual agenda at a ceremony on March 6.
