Across Protocol pushes to convert from DAO to corporation

Across Protocol, backed by venture investment firm Paradigm, is pursuing a plan to abandon its decentralised autonomous organisation (DAO) and token structure and transition to a U.S. corporate and share structure, The Block reported. A new entity, AcrossCo, would become the operating body. ACX token holders could choose between a direct share exchange or a token buyback option exchanging ACX for USDC at $0.04375 per token, a 25 percent premium to the one-month average market price.

KB Kookmin Bank to help cut tax burden for small business owners

KB Kookmin Bank said it will introduce a tax refund support service for small business customers on KB Star Banking from March 18. The service allows sole proprietors to check tax and labour benefits related to employment growth free of charge and apply for calculated estimated refunds at once. It was created through a partnership with Taxtinum and has more than 50,000 subscribers as of end-December 2025.

Ethereum Foundation begins testing 'DVT-lite' technology

The Ethereum Foundation is testing new technology to simplify staking for institutions holding large amounts of ETH. CoinDesk reported on March 11, citing a post by Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin on X, that the foundation is conducting an experiment staking 72,000 ETH through DVT-lite, a lightweight distributed validator version. The goal is to simplify complex validator operations so large institutions can participate more easily in the Ethereum network.
