Kyobo Securities recruits job-linked interns for first half of 2026

Kyobo Securities said on Thursday it will openly recruit job-linked interns for the first half of 2026, targeting its IT division as digital transformation accelerates. Applicants must be four-year university graduates or expected graduates, or have equivalent capabilities. The hiring process will include document screening, a written test and working-level interviews. Selected candidates will begin a roughly four-week internship in March and may be hired as full-time employees after an executive interview.

GlobalFoundries to acquire Synopsys processor IP business

GlobalFoundries said it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire Synopsys' ARC processor IP solutions business, including related engineering and design personnel. The company said the deal will strengthen its MIPS subsidiary and build a processor IP lineup focused on physical AI applications. The acquired portfolio includes ARC-V, ARC-Classic, ARC VPX-DSP and ARC NPX NPU, as well as ASIP tools. The transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2026, subject to regulatory approvals.

NH NongHyup Bank launches New Year NH AllOne e-Deposit sign-up event

NH NongHyup Bank said it will hold a New Year sign-up event for its NH AllOne e-Deposit from Jan. 15 through Feb. 28. The event targets customers who open the deposit through NH AllOne Bank or NH Smart Banking. The bank will draw 1,000 winners to receive 10,000-won Baedal Minjok vouchers, with an extra voucher for customers born in the Year of the Horse. It will also award 300 MegaCoffee Americano vouchers for posting New Year goals.
