Hanwha Investment & Securities said on April 20 it signed a memorandum of understanding with Digital Asset Holdings LLC, a blockchain infrastructure company focused on global finance. Digital Asset, headquartered in New York, operates the Canton Network, a blockchain adopted by major global financial institutions including Goldman Sachs, the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation, Euroclear, Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing and HSBC. Hanwha said it plans to strengthen competitiveness in digital assets and next-generation financial services through participation.
