Charles Hoskinson (찰스 호스킨슨) said he would hold a special event if deposits of RealF’s dollar-pegged stablecoin sUSDrf exceed $1 million.

Blockchain outlet The Crypto Basic reported on Oct. 19 that community interest is growing as funds have flowed rapidly into a related liquidity vault of Strike Finance, a Cardano-based DeFi service.

Hoskinson made the remark after Strike Finance disclosed that $70,000 flowed into its liquidity vault via sUSDrf. RealF later said the vault grew to about $200,000. The market is watching whether it expands to $1 million.

In a social media post, he wrote: "If we reach a million, I have to do something special. What should I do?" He did not decide on a specific format and asked the community for ideas. Earlier, he also asked whether there would be interest in creating a prediction market via Bodega Market to forecast when the vault would reach $1 million.

The inflows follow the integration of Strike Finance and RealF. The link lets users access RealF yield opportunities in addition to existing Strike Finance vault rewards. Users with eligible collateral can also borrow dollars interest-free and deploy the funds in a vault connected to Strike liquidity providers.

Strike Finance said its liquidity vaults exceeded $1 million and that $200,000 flowed into sUSDrf over the past 72 hours. The $1 million figure, however, appears to refer to the platform’s total liquidity vault size. Hoskinson’s target is to reach $1 million from sUSDrf deposits alone, and the community is also watching whether the goal is met.

Hoskinson has said RealF is a project that can draw additional funds into the Cardano ecosystem and increase total value locked, or TVL. The Strike Finance integration could therefore serve as an opportunity to broaden fund deployment across Cardano-based DeFi applications.

Still, growth in a specific liquidity vault does not mean Cardano’s overall TVL increases by the same amount. The real impact depends on where assets are placed and how each platform counts them. Cardano’s TVL currently stands at $62.77 million, down 0.21 percent over the past 24 hours.

Against that backdrop, an expansion of funds in Strike Finance’s vault is seen as a sign of early demand for Cardano DeFi liquidity. Key points to watch are whether the inflow proves temporary or is sustained, and whether the RealF integration leads to broader TVL growth across the Cardano ecosystem.

If we reach a million, I have to do something special. What should I do?
